Anyone whom has been to Nigeria can attest to the fact that Nigeria is home to some of the most creative people that I have ever seen on earth.

And as such, since this article is all about teaching you on everything you need to learn on "How To Draw"; I will be giving you a detailed information on what you will need to note first before embarking on the journey to becoming a professional artist (or painter).

First of all, you need to note that in most cases, being good at drawing all comes with one's Godgiven talent; but if you are the kind of person whose bent on perfecting the act of drawing, you can start by watching a good number of videos on YouTube that teaches people the basic steps on how to learn drawing (or art).

Secondly, having (or watching YouTube videos) online classes on drawing may not be all that enough as you will also need to find yourself a mentor to be good at drawing. Make sure that the person whom you choose to be your mentor as regards this particular journey that you have chosen to undertake is someone that understands what it means to be an artist and is ready to guide you in your journey to becoming the next Leonardo Da Vinci.

Thirdly, you should see to it that you surround yourself with people whom are extremely supportive of your journey on embarking to be a professional artist (or learning how to draw); listen to your critics as well, but don't let harsh words get to you as it may slow you down and make you abandon the beautiful dream that you have always had.

Fourtly, our good artistic philosophers will always tells us that "Practice Makes Perfect"; if you are extremely serious with your journey on learning on how to draw and you are taking all our classes serious and carrying out your own private practicals either at home or in an art gallery or in a quite place, it won't be long until you master the art of drawing.

Finally, to the promising artists whom are reading this article, I am also a part- time artist back here in Nigeria and I know how it feels for some of us considering the fact that a lot of individuals back here in home do tend to look down on art; but trust me, when I tell you that you shouldn't give up on your dreams.

Back in highschool I made money from drawing and it was through some of the proceeds that I got from drawing were what I used to help buy some certain things for myself in school and stuffs like that; who knows, you might just decide to embark on a full time career on art is you're the kind of person that takes things serious and never gives up.

Once more, thank you for reading my article and I look forward to reading and seeing your success story on this space; and what ever questions that you wish to throw across to me, I am going to be of great help to you as far as this topic is concerned.
