"We cannot compare what is happening in Ukraine with 'a normal or almost normal accession process'' - Polish PM Says

Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of Poland, has stated that the European Union has to create an accelerated process for Ukraine to join the EU.

We are living in a turning point in history, we have to change almost everything in Europe. And that is why we need to create a new process for Ukraine. The accelerated process is synonymous with this."

Background: Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Poland is considering handing over its MiG-29s to Ukraine and joining the coalition to provide Ukraine with F-16 fighters, if such a coalition were formed.
