Breaking News: Ukraine faces uphill battle in upcoming counteroffensive against Russia - Is this the endgame?

The upcoming counteroffensive by Ukraine against Russia could be difficult, warns the Financial Times. With over 140,000 enemy troops along a 950km frontline, Ukraine's lack of air superiority will make the simultaneous work of all military units a challenge, from artillery and tanks to intelligence gathering and engineers.

The exact location of the attack is unknown, but military analysts warn that the Russians have already set up lines of defence consisting of mines, concrete pillars, trenches, and dugouts.

While the synchronisation of actions from different units is a significant obstacle, Ukraine's army has been underestimated before and has the potential to push back Russian forces. A brutal and fast offensive could shake the front, make Russians flee, and render defensive structures unnecessary.
