Alleged Habitual Chicken Thief Apprehended in Enugu Community

In Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, a suspected habitual thief has been apprehended. The individual in question, known for his alleged involvement in stealing chickens, was captured by a local security team at Orie market on the morning of Monday, September 18, 2023.

According to Sunday Ezenwankwo, the suspect is believed to have a history of pilfering chickens in Imilike community, Udenu Local Government Area, and subsequently selling them for N1000 each. In response to this, the security group chose to symbolically tie the stolen chickens around the suspect's neck as part of their efforts to apprehend him.

Ezenwankwo shared the incident, commenting, "Here is an Imilke fowl thief specialist. Imilke security group, who traced him down to Orie Igbo-Eze Modern Market, stated that the man is a notorious chicken thief in their community. Consider the size of the fowl that this man is selling at the rate of 1k each."
