Comedian Chris Rock's Close Friend Leslie Jones Reveals He Attended Therapy with Daughters After 'Humiliating' Oscar Slap from Will Smith

Comedian Chris Rock's close friend, Leslie Jones, has revealed that he accompanied him to therapy with his daughters after the 'humiliating' Oscar slap incident involving Will Smith. 
Jones, 56, shared insights into the aftermath of the March 2022 slap incident during which Rock, 58, made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith that offended Smith, 54. Jones emphasized how the incident affected Rock, leading him to seek counseling with his daughters Lola, 21, and Zahra, 19. 

She expressed her anger over the situation and her readiness to intervene. Jones also discussed her close bond with Rock and how he supported her career, even writing the foreword for her upcoming book. 

She reflected on the Oscar incident and criticized Smith's response, suggesting that he could have handled it differently. Jones also highlighted the role of comedians in addressing controversies through humor.
