Donna Tierney, the estranged wife of former Tottenham and England footballer Jermain Defoe, has publicly criticized the woman he is allegedly involved with. Donna and Jermain parted ways several months after their lavish £200,000 wedding, and now, Donna has taken issue with Alisha LeMay, who had attended their wedding ceremony in December 2022.
Jermain Defoe's relationship with Donna soured earlier this year, following reports of him sending explicit messages to a nurse. Donna's social media comments came in response to a report by Sun UK on Sunday, September 24, which revealed Jermain Defoe's purported connection to a third woman, 28-year-old wedding planner Paige Bethany Mallabourn-Edmondson.
Donna, aged 40, expressed her feelings, stating, "She was the better option because I was never an option. Ladies, if you make yourself an option, that's all you'll ever be. He didn't have an option—I wouldn't take him back!"
At the time of her separation from Jermain Defoe, Donna emphasized the sincerity of her love and commitment to their marriage but noted that infidelity had ultimately led to their breakup. She also accused influencer Alisha, aged 31, of attempting to undermine her by wearing a counterfeit engagement ring.
Meanwhile, Paige Bethany Mallabourn-Edmondson's family has confirmed her relationship with Jermain Defoe, with Paige's mother confirming, "Yes, they are in a relationship together."
