Israel Vs Hamas: Iran Declares Support For Palestinian Terror Group

In the Middle East, there are ongoing tensions involving several groups, including Iran's support for Hamas and other Islamist militants like Hezbollah in Lebanon. These tensions have led to conflicts with Israel, which declared a state of war against Hamas following an attack on October 7.
On Monday, Israel reported detecting approximately 30 rocket launches from Lebanon within one hour. In response, Hamas claimed to have launched 16 missiles towards Nahariyya and Southern Haifa in Israel.

In Gaza's Maghazi refugee camp, where Israeli forces struck on Sunday, the local health ministry reported the loss of at least 47 lives. Heartbreaking scenes unfolded as people searched for victims or survivors in the rubble.

Saeed al-Nejma, 53, described the grim situation, saying, "All night, I and other individuals were tirelessly trying to recover the deceased from the debris, including children and severely injured individuals." The Israeli military stated that it is collecting information regarding the incident.

To ensure the safety of civilians, the Israeli military announced a four-hour window daily for people in the northern areas to evacuate. However, U.N. monitoring indicated that fewer than 2,000 individuals used this corridor on Sunday, citing concerns related to fear and road damage. According to a U.S. envoy, an estimated 350,000 to 400,000 people remain in the northern areas as of Saturday.
