3 Houses In Lagos That I Inspected Told Me That They Don't Want Igbo Tenants— Ruth

One of Nigeria's biggest social media influencers, Ruth, who has over 948,000 followers on the app X (formerly known as Twitter), has taken to the microblogging platform to reveal her sad experience while house hunting in Lagos.

In a tweet on X, which has already garnered over 352,000 views at the time of writing, she stated:

"Igbo people are discriminated against in Lagos. I went to inspect three houses today and they told me they don’t want an Igbo tenant."

Furthermore, it is important to note that there is no law in Nigeria prohibiting people from any tribe, whether Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba, from renting their houses or rooms to people from different tribes, classes, or religions.
