Abdulmumin MKO Abiola, a son of the late Nigerian businessman and politician Mashood MKO Abiola, has shared details about his family's size following his father's death. He discussed the number of wives and children his father left behind in a video interview with Seun Okin, posted on ThemiconPodcast's official Instagram page.
In the interview, Abdulmumin disclosed that his father had 40 wives and initially 103 children. However, after conducting DNA tests, the number of children was reduced to 55. He clarified, "We are not as many as people think in Abiola's family; we are only 55."

He added, "My dad had 40 wives and 103 children, but after DNA testing, the number dropped to 55. This is a manageable number in a country of 220 million people. Some people think my father was enjoying himself, but he wasn’t."
