Jealousy And Revenge: Woman In Baguio City Arrested For Cutting Husband's Private Parts

A woman in Baguio City, Philippines, allegedly severed her husband's genitalia, asserting that he should not deny the incident or claim innocence. She admitted to being under the influence of alcohol but insisted that her husband was at fault. The woman claimed that during their intimate moment, her husband mentioned another woman's name.
Reportedly, the woman waited until her husband was asleep before using a knife to carry out the act. Neighbors responded quickly, rushing the man to the hospital. It was also noted that the woman had previously attempted to file adultery charges against her husband but lacked evidence. Following the incident, the police arrested her.

The Vanguard News reported the woman as saying, "My husband was saying his mistress’s name, not mine. I was influenced by alcohol, but I knew what I was doing. He knows that he is also at fault. He shouldn’t try to deny it; he shouldn’t try to lie that he hasn’t done anything wrong. It’s so obvious, because I see it."

Authorities have stated that she will be charged with mutilation, a crime in the Philippines that carries a prison sentence of 12 to 40 years.
